Thanks for coming by! We're in Southern Ohio now on our way to Kentucky, then, Missouri to see the Ozarks - then the plans get fuzzy (we usually don't plan ahead much at all). We wanted to see Montana and South Dakota before it gets too cold but we may end up having to do that in the spring. We miss the Southwest so we will probably go there for the winter but both of us want a good snowed in cabin for the winter as well, so we'll see how it pans out I guess. A cabin was our plan for last winter in the Smoky's but we dragged our feet in Florida till spring. Where on the west coast are you headed? We started in Portland but unfortunately missed nearly everything from Portland to L.A.because we were giving someone a ride for the first part of the trip.

Also, was going to mention, Have you thought about making a route map? http://www.travellerspoint.com/travel-maps.cfm I just finally got caught up with ours, pretty fun.

Thanks for stopping by! Much appreciated!

Katya, so good to hear from you! I too sometimes feel like we are the only ones in the world doing this at times! Thanks for the invitation to your blog. I really like the perspective in your photos. Liberty RV park was a very unique experience, amazing to be so close to the city.

We will be traveling through Albany, NY on the way to Minnesota, then on the west coast. Where will you be staying for the winter?

What a great story! I am sure glad you made it out in one piece. I would have loved to see Ross the mad mountain trailer driver in action. My only trailer story in the North Carolina mountains was when we were vacationing there when i was a kid and my father was towing a small travel trailer. The trailer brakes overheated and all we had were the brakes on the car, going down one of those seemingly endless descents. I remember it was scary as hell.

The mountains of North Carolina are one of my favorite places on earth. When I lived in the Triangle area (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill) all during my 20's I would make regular pilgrimages to go backpacking and exploring the amazing rocks, streams and waterfalls. It's too bad it was so cold for you in Asheville, because it is a lovely place.

Take care you guys.

I love hearing your stories.

This is my favorite post you have thus far! Informative and fun to read, keep them coming. I too tried lots of natural products and found them to not work for me. I disliked the Burt's Bees shampoo and conditioner as well. I don't think Seventh Generation is a good natural cleaning company...re-read the ingredients. If I recall there was something in it that made me buy another product, just can't remember what. I have something called Eco..somthing that has great all natural ingredients. It is a dish washing soap, I use Dr. Bronner's as well for laundry and dishwashing and hand soap. I like Jason's shampoo and conditioner, not totally chemical free I think, but works. Must look at my bottle again, hehe. Hugo Naturals is all natural with not one bad chemical thrown in like most. Unfortunately the Vanilla and Sweet Orange Conditioner left my hair greasy. Smells divine though! Desser Essence Night Creme is new and has mostly good ingredients but has something(chemical?)in it that made my face red. Alaffia makes great natural products like lotion, lip balm, and soap. I love the lotion and the face cream didn't make my face red. Only chemical I found in it was Phenoexyethonal or something like that.
